The bridge crane is a lifting machine that is installed on a structure – the crane track – and moves along it on rails. Primary tasks of the bridge crane includes lifting loads using lifting equipment (hoists) and moving loads using travel mechanisms. Bridge cranes are available in a variety of configurations depending on the needs of the application and can be powered electrically or manually. There are several types of overhead cranes, such as: single-girder, double-girder, under running and semi-gantry – each of which can have its own advantages for different material handling needs.
Bridge cranes can lift, lower and carry loads up to 60 t. They are mostly used in workshops, warehouses and production halls. Overhead cranes manufactured by our company are equipped as standard with a radio remote control system, but the crane can also be operated with a cable pendant. We deliver our cranes with a complete and modern electrical installation. Smooth regulation of individual movement speeds is solved by means of frequency converters, which allow fast and safe manipulation.
With our cranes, simoultaneously we can deliver also crane tracks on brackets of the hall or on self-supporting columns.
The delivery includes an assessment of the foundation or a proposal for a new crane runway, fastening to a new or existing structure (column, truss, lintel).
BGB Solutions s.r.o. also carries out repairs, rectification of crane runways, including rail replacement and geodetic surveying.
