A jib crane is a free-standing lifting device with a rotating arm, designed for material handling within a defined work area. It is mounted directly to the floor and enables easy positioning of loads using a hoist or another lifting mechanism. Jib cranes are mainly used in production halls and industrial facilities where smooth handling within a single workstation is important.
These cranes are designed and used mainly in machine tool production halls where other means of transport cannot be used for static reasons. Installation is carried out using a steel distribution plate on a concrete base with HILTI anchor bolts and chemical anchors.
They are controlled via pendant control as standard, but can be equipped with a radio remote control system. Our cranes are supplied with chain hoists by the German manufacturer SWF Krantechnik as standard. The rotation of the jib is mostly manual, but we also produce jib cranes with electric jib rotation.
