Applications
Gantry cranes consists of two vertical columns tied together by a horizontal girder. This industrial-grade lifting solution enables load handling in facilities where installing a runway for a bridge crane isn’t possible.
The girder can extend to one or both sides, extending beyond the columns to support lifting and load transfer outside the core structure.
Crane structure
The crane can be built to travel on rails, on wheels or as a semi-gantry configuration. A rail-mounted construction enables load movement along the entire track, while a wheeled version allows handling only at the location where the crane is stopped.
Gantry cranes on wheels are a smart choice when loads need to be handled at multiple points or across different halls. They can be quickly repositioned whenever operating conditions demand it. They’re also suitable for outdoor environments, where heavier loads are typically managed across large open areas.
